About the Lloydminster Rescue Squad
Lloydminster Rescue Squad has been serving the RM of Britannia No. 502 since the organization was established in 1984.
Over the many years that the Lloydminster Rescue Squad has served the RM and the community, they have grown from two trucks to numerous pieces of specialty equipment. That specialty equipment consists of:
- two fully equipped rescue trucks;
- three command units;
- two side x sides with tracks;
- state of the UAV;
- k-9 team; and
- three boats with a dedicated team of underwater recovery specialists.
Lloydminster Rescue Squad continue to train, as many members have acquired extensive extraction training, first responder, and medical response training. The organization consists of 22 volunteer members that receive no remuneration for their response.
Lloydminster Rescue Squad is located in their new location on the north end of Lloydminster - a location that supports rapid response to the RM of Britannia.
